Definition: A blowout haircut is one that is clipped close (often faded to the skin) just above the ears and the nape of the neck and quickly tapers out to one or two inches. The hair is then styled using gel so that the top and sides are spiked up and away from the head (blown out). This style is popular on the Jersey shore and has been worn by the Gotti Brothers on the TV show 'Growing up Gotti.'
