For this style, the hair is cut in long layers with shears. Unlike the shag haircut, this style is cut a bit more blunt around the edges to give a cleaner look. To style, apply a dime sized amount of gel from scalp to ends. Blow dry with a paddle brush directing hair from side to side to create volume. When hair is slightly damp, rake a bit more gel through to add shine and separation. For a more formal look, the hair may be combed back with a bit of pomade for shine and sleekness.
